ST569: THEOLOGY AND SPIRITUALITY IN THE CLASSICAL MUSICAL TRADITION.
Brady Millican.

DESCRIPTION:

This course examines various facets of Western classical music, connecting these features with the individual and corporate experience of Christian spirituality. Basic components of theology and the experience of the Holy as the universal source of art will be explored in particular examples of vocal and instrumental music from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. This exploration will be conducted from personal and biblical perspectives.
