LG512B: INTRODUCCION AL GRIEGO. Camilo Gonzalez.
DESCRIPTION:
- The second quarter of a two-quarter sequence designed to give the
student a thorough basic knowledge of the phonology, morphology, and syntax of
New Testament Greek. Emphasis will be on reading and translation. The class
will be conducted entirely in Spanish.
RELEVANCE FOR MINISTRY:
- The course will provide the student with basic skills in Greek
grammar needed for preaching, teaching, and personal devotion.
COURSE FORMAT:
- The course method is based on preparation of carefully designed
lessons before coming to class. The class sessions consist of recitation
and discussion of questions and problems, as well as presentations of material
as needed.

ASSIGNMENTS:
- Each student is expected to be present at all class sessions with
the assigned lessons fully prepared. There will be periodic quizzes and tests
to help the student to monitor his or her progress. There will also be a
midterm and final examination.
PREREQUISITES:
- Spanish.
RELATIONSHIP TO CURRICULUM:
- The two-quarter sequence LG512A/B meets the M.Div. core requirement
in Greek (GRK).
