CH502: MEDIEVAL AND REFORMATION HISTORY. Katherine Lee Ahn.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a survey course that is designed to cover the development of Christian doctrines and formation of various confessional groups in the western theological tradition between the sixth and the sixteenth century. By providing the basic understanding on the development of the church and its doctrines, this course should help the students to form their self and confessional identity as individual Christians and Christian leaders. As they become conversant with the history and doctrines of the western church, they should become aware of the historical background behind the current theological debates and develop a sense of direction for Christian ministries and missions. This class is conducted mainly in the Korean language to serve students whose native tongue is Korean.
