OT502: THE HEBREW PROPHETS (4 units).

DESCRIPTION:

The course studies the contents of the Former Prophets (Joshua to Kings) and the Latter Prophets (Isaiah to Malachi), their possible historical backgrounds, different approaches to their interpretation, and their significance for us today.

The narrative from Joshua to Kings and the Prophets offer revolutionary insight on God, the world, human life, leadership, and the people of God.

COURSE FORMAT:
The course will be conducted on the Internet using a 10-week lesson program aligned with Fuller's academic calendar. Lectures for each lesson will be available online. Students and instructor will interact with the material weekly through homework assignments and threaded discussions.
