ST501: SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY I: THEOLOGY/ANTHROPOLOGY. David A. Dorman.

DESCRIPTION:

An introductory course designed to provide a foundational understanding of the doctrines of revelation and Scripture, the triune God, creation, and humankind. Special emphasis will be given to the historical development of doctrine in relation to its biblical roots, and the role of traditional theology in contemporary thought.

RELEVANCE FOR THE CHRISTIAN LIFE AND MINISTRY:
The topics discussed illumine the basis for the Church's life of worship, nurture, and proclamation, both in articulating the content of faith and in suggesting models for relating the content to ministry.
