GM539: RELIGIOUS FUNDRAISING (4 Units: 160 hours). Scott Cormode and William Enright


DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this course is to teach students about raising money in religious organizations. It will focus on churches, nonprofits, and religious social service organizations.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon successful completion of this course, students will have (1) demonstrated an understanding of the concepts informing religious fundraising, and (2) applied those concepts to a specific setting or organization

COURSE FORMAT: This class meets daily as a one-week intensive for eight-hour sessions for a total of 36 hours of classroom instruction for lecture and discussion, plus 4 hours of directed learning activities for a total of 40 instructional hours.

REQUIRED READING: 395 pages of required reading.
