LG512C: BEGINNING READINGS IN NEW TESTAMENT GREEK (4 units). Renee A. Williams.


DESCRIPTION: This course is the third quarter of Fuller’s introductory Greek sequence. Students will read Greek texts from across the New Testament, increasing their skills in reading and translating.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Having successfully completed this course, students will have demonstrated the ability (1) to translate from the Greek NT using appropriate tools; (2) to translate NT passages of varying authorship, difficulty levels, and genres; (3) to defend translation decisions; and (4) to explain the function of various noun, pronoun, adjective, and verb forms.

COURSE FORMAT: This course will meet three hours weekly for discussion of prepared New Testament passages, quizzes, and sight reading of New Testament and other Koine Greek texts.
