In the far left column (When?), select one or more quarters (required).
In the next two columns (Which? and Where?), select any number of options, or none. If you select nothing in either of these columns, you get everything in that column (which may be what you want). Select one or more schools and/or campuses only if you want to limit what you see.
If desired, select a language. Leave unchecked, and you get everything.
Select only one item in this column, if desired. Anything selected in this column will interact with selections in the other columns.
Even after the SHOW CLASSES button changes from GETTING CLASSES back to SHOW CLASSES, you may have to wait a little longer. Depending on your choices, a lot of data may be loading to display. How many others are using the schedule at the same time may also make a difference. The display will roll up when data loading is complete, and a search box will appear at the top right (more about that below).
There are 15 columns available for display: Quarter, Campus, School, Status, CRN, Catalog Number, Title, Faculty, Units, Days, Times, Dates, Prerequisites, Attributes, Notes. All columns will display on a standard wide screen display. The display will adjust to display on smaller screens, including tablets and phones. At a certain point, not all columns will display. But if an icon of a + in a circle appears in each row on the far left, click on it and the missing columns will display below that row.
Your initial display will be in the following order: Quarter, Campus, School, Division ( in SOT only: Biblical, Church History/Theology, Ministry), Catalog Number.
Click on the column heading to sort; click again to reverse sort
To display again with original order of display (undo sort), go back to the top and click SHOW CLASSES again (without changing anything).
Search further filters what is already displayed. It responds immediately – no need to click the SHOW CLASSES button again. Search is not case sensitive. Remove the search text and your complete selection is restored immediately. Some uses for Search: Professor’s last name, Attribute (e.g. C1, TH4, HT3, PC), catalog number, part of catalog number (NE5 for all New Testament exegetical clases), part of a title, a date, etc. Keep in mind that Search will display records that have the string you search for in any column.
If you click on the Catalog Number, the ECD (Expanded Class Description) will display if it is available. It will display in a new window or tab, so you can close that window or tab when you are through and you will still have your schedule selection.
Click on Note to display the note. To close the note, hit the ESC key, click on the schedule again, or click the CLOSE button.
If you hover your cursor over the data in the Catalog Number or Attributes columns, a tooltip pops up to provide further information.
